Erin Anders, a Montana native, is the lead faculty member of the Bachelor of Applied Science program in Agricultural Systems at Walla Walla Community College. Both her teaching and research are grounded in applied science with a specific emphasis on understanding agroecosystem utility and management. She is particularly interested in the impacts of agricultural management on both the human and the environmental condition. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Agroecology with minors in Anthropology and Soil Science from the University of Wyoming and holds a Ph.D. in Crop and Soil Sciences with a concentration in Ecological Food and Farming Systems from Michigan State University.
