Students enrolled in the Automotive Program will be required to furnish his/her own hand tools. Students in the program are given a list of required tools which can be obtained from one of several sources, with special student pricing programs availabel through the College. Quality tool manufacturers include: Snap-On, Mac, Matco, Proto, Cornwell, Craftsman, SK, and many others. First year student’s tools will range from approximately $1277.00 to $4772.00, depending upon the brand of tools and the desired supplier. Second year tools will cost approximately $491.00 to $1561.00 again depending on quality of tool purchased. Tools are an investment that will last a lifetime.
